Hi Everyone!
I'm so sorry I wasn't here in time to wish you all a Merry Christmas! On the 25th my family and I flew to the beach, and we're staying here until the 30th (we've had the worst internet connection, EVER). So i've hardly had time to check my mail, much less write a blog.
How was everyone's christmas? What did Santa bring you, and where did you spend the holiday? Please write in the comments, i'd LOVE to know!
In Ecuador, we celebrate christmas on the 24th, not the 25th (like people in the states do), which is why we flew to the beach on the 25th. I got some pretty clothes from my fam which I loved. Em's brother, Dylan got me to coolest shirt in the world. Its a shirt with a Chinchilla wearing sunglasses.... its.... Chinchillin'... Its so clever I LOVED IT! (shall post picture when I have a chance). Emerson got me a small crane game machine. I used to LOVE those when I was a kid (confesssion time.... I still do, haha) so it was such a fun/thoughful gift.
In case you are wondering, I haven't had a change to update top DCers. I've hardly had time to keep up with anything. I will do so when I go back to Quito (my house in Ecuador). Btw, I found out that the voting period was extended on the IceCaves web awards. We're so close to being #1, please vote for me in the contest and i'll love you FOREVER!... please please please please pretty please?

That's all for right now. I'll update DC with some fun stuff I've collected around the net when I get back from the beach, in the meantime watch this amazingly cute video of a ticklish frog. I want a frog now. (I want a Zoo actually.... hahaha)

Not only in Ecuador, but in all of Latin America. My family is from the Dominican Republic and our main day of celebration is the 24th. That's when the family comes together, when we have the Christmas dinner, and then we go to the Midnight Mass. American churches don't really give the midnight mass so we missed it this year. Christmas day is usually the day to rest from the night before, haha. xD And good luck with the awards!
Hey Gabby, Merry Christmas! My family had a great Christmas all together, after three months apart. Santa brought us lots of surprises ;-), one of the coolest (though not the cutest!) being an InStyler. This hair tool is amazing! I also enjoyed the Christmas tube of three new LipSmackers... made me feel like a little girl again and I love it!
You got some cool gifts -jealous- :P I got the big mouse from squishable.com (he's so adorable!), a Kyo cat (from the anime Fruits Basket) pillow, which I use every night, Japanese for Dummies, two cute cat knickknacks, a Snoopy-x-Woodstock jacket, a Wii, CANDY, a calendar, automatic change counter, and I'm pretty sure that's it. It was such an awesome Christmas. :3 I didn't know that in Ecuador they celebrate Christmas on the 24th, well now I know. ;DD Hope you're have a great time. :) That frog is so adorable, I want one now too and name him Lulzey :P
Sounds like you had fun. :) I didn't do much at Christmas, though I got some awesome presents, including guitar hero 5 and a book I've wanted for ages(which I finished on the morning of Boxing Day). XD Good luck with the awards. =)
Sounds like you had a very interesting and different Christmas. It was fun hearing about it. And the video or the frog is very cute. Never seen a video of a frog before this We had a very quiet Christmas here because we had to send Sqeeky our 19 year old sister to the Rainbow bridge and Mom was very sad. We had to do that on Wed. The 23rd. So she is very missed. Mom wrote a little post about her on our blog Happy New year
